Alfa Romeo Sprint 1600 restored to the extreme…
Purchased by us in Rome - Italy. A good driving car at that time in the color Bianco. But a dent in the rear screen eventually led to a full restoration. We have described the whole process in a book with many photos. During the restoration we changed the color to a true-to-time and original Alfa color Grigio with matching tabacco leather.
The eager 1600 engine with carburetor and 5-speed gearbox was the faster version compared to the Sprint 1300. The engine has been overhauled, as has the gearbox and therefore runs beautifully. In addition, it shifts great without any resistance.
