The Jaguar E-type S3 V12 Coupé 2+2…

Since its introduction in 1961, the Jaguar E-type has been the benchmark in classic car land. The fine-thin pen drawing makes an E-type recognizable like no other exotic. As an absolute purist, collector, connoisseur, you choose the S1 Coupé flat-floor with "outside bonnet latches". Those were only the first 500 units produced….

Is the Roadster the choice then? Everyone's taste…. But the sensual roofline accentuates the hips and beautiful long nose. A Coupe is my choice! The Series 3 is the smoothest due to the 5.3 V12. More of a "sophisticated" cruiser than a sports car. The automatic gearbox and power steering fit perfectly with that. Incidentally, the S3 was only available as a convertible or as a Coupé 2 + 2. An additional advantage is the more generous space in the cockpit of about 2+2 due to the higher roofline.

The Jaguar Heritage Certificate shows that this car was delivered new to British Leyland France. Originally white with black leather and a manual gearbox…. Gunmetal with Burgundy leather is the most imaginative combination and had been the very best choice from day 1!

This example has recently undergone a complete restoration. A total restoration of the body, complete engine overhaul and the interior completely re-fitted with "burgundy" leather. Many photos of this route can be viewed with us. The car has a Dutch registration.
