The Alfa Romeo Roadster Zagato based on “Il Monstro”, the SZ.

It is obvious that this car is hand-built at Zagato and has typical Zagato details. Take a look at the bumps behind the front seats, as a nod to the "dubble bubble" that Zagato used a lot in their designs. At first glance an equal car to its closed brother the SZ. Yet there are many details that differ; a higher front spoiler to get more ground clearance, modified hood, dark rear light units. The body panels have also been made thinner in order to limit the additional weight of only 150 kg compared to the closed version.

A transaxle configuration for ideal weight distribution. The 3.0 V6 with 207 hp gives perhaps the most beautiful symphony of all engines ever! With a torque of at least 230Nm between 2500/6000 rpm, there is always ample pulling power available and makes this engine extremely smooth. The pleasant shifting and rear-wheel drive make the character of this Alfa.

With a total production of only 278 pieces, this is a rarity and a real Zagato!
