Alfa Romeo Spider 1750 osso di seppia… or Duetto

The purist knows immediately, a 1750 is magical! In this case in the color Verde a superior appearance. Unique that it is an original Dutch car and has had the same owner for the last 23 years!

Technically perfectly maintained and fantastic driving car, ready to drive to Italy. Upon arrival you will find a beautifully radiant Duetto in a fabulous color, beautiful chrome and new convertible top. Even an original hardtop is included with this Alfa.
Long ago restored and repainted in the original factory color. Minimal traces of time betray that this car has made long journeys. It might make it perfect, patina!

With the car we have two folders full of invoices to give a very good picture of how the car has been maintained. Unfortunately, we cannot send it by email, but the buyer is welcome to view it during a visit to the car!

Origin
Originally delivered directly to Alfa Romeo Netherlands by Alfa Romeo Italy on March 25, 1969.

Paintwork
Engine compartment was painted around 2011.
Trunk sprayed in 2023.
Floorboards and part of the bulkheads were almost bare and coated in black Branthe Korrux in 2023. Deliberately opted for black, because green does not look nice under the black upholstery.
Furthermore, the paint has not been adjusted except for "touching up/touching up" and nothing on the outside has been adjusted in the past 23 years.

Carburetors
The engine is equipped with Dellorto's DHLA 40. Adjusted last May on the dynamometer at Speedcentre, neat 120 HP. Nord 105 are supplied with Dellorto, Weber and Solex.
Undercarriage
Completely blasted and powder coated, all bushings, rubbers and silent blocks replaced.
The original springs have been replaced by “fast road” springs from Alfaholics. That really drives much better. The stabilizer bar is standard.

Wheels
Wheels with lugs (for wheel covers), where the center of the wheel is placed in a modern rim bed, with profile on the sides of the rim. This allows “modern” tires to be mounted without an inner tube.
