Alfa Romeo GTV “916” 2.0 JTS 16v Phase3….
The Phase3 became available in 2003 and was briefly in production. The last GTV left the factory in 2004 after a total production of 1,181 units of this series. So rare. To get a feel for that; 1,337 units of the Ferrari F40 were built.
Beautiful lines by Pininfarina show a resemblance to Ferrari. Even the interior has a Ferrari layout. In other words, a real Italian thoroughbred. That's how a GTV 916 drives. The perfect balance due to the relatively light 4 cylinder with 165 hp ensures that a GTV drives like a rear-wheel drive car. Even though it's a front-wheel drive car, the balance is superb, responsive to steering movements, taut suspension and endlessly addictive at higher speeds.
This copy was delivered new in Germany and has only had 3 owners. The beautiful "Cuoio" (brown) leather contrasts beautifully with the bright silver-grey "Grigio Chiaro" body color. The last series was delivered at extra cost with these beautiful 17″ sportivo wheels with a double five-spoke.
